### Is the GOAT Protocol a fork of Beefy.com?

Yes. We decided that it was best to start as a fork as Beefy has a robust infrastructure that allows us to get started safely. A secure starting point allows us to focus on what really matters, giving our users the best strategies to extract the best yield from the market.
